IMPRESSIONS FROM MEDIEVAL TIMES - EXTRAORDINARY MEDIEVAL FIGURINES BY DRESSEL & KISTER OF PASSAU

These extraordinary fine and VERY scarce figurines are in the collection of a German friend, an avid collector of Dressel & Kister figurines and half dolls; and an expert on this Bavarian manufacturer. Many of these gorgeous figurines were produced as well as medieval half dolls. Both, the medieval figurines and the half dolls are scarce and highly sought after by collectors and were produced between c. 1900 and 1915. The design of many these figurines is based on old French (fashion) prints. I think that these stunning and "half-doll related" figurines are "eye candies" and well worth to be shown in my blog.
